We need your help to launch Play Peterborough Now or Never with a bang!
On Saturday the 5th and Sunday 6th September 2015, during Peterborough Arts Festival, we’ll be launching Peterborough’s first playful app.
To create a spectacle to promote and launch the App we are staging an exciting event to take place in Cathedral Square. We cannot shout it all out here but if you enjoy being part of a large group of people ‘playing’ together this promises to be great fun and make a very powerful spectacle.
Our planned (and yes rather secretive) event will take place between 2:00 and 2:30 pm over the festival weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and we are looking for volunteers to make this happen! You don’t have to commit to both days but would be helpful f you could. If you don’t have a smart phone or a 3G tablet – please don’t let that put you off. We can equip you with the technology and make it easy to use.
To join us all you need to do is let us know by email giving your contact details, mobile number and T-shirt size.
On the day will meet at the Arts Festival pop- up ‘Hunt & Darton café’ (exact location will be confirmed and probably at 1pm) to talk through the launch event over a light lunch. You will also receive your own Play Peterborough Now or Never T shirt and a set of simple instructions to follow. Absolutely no skills or previous performance experience required – just a sense of fun and good humour!
